Your Environment is Your Input

I'm writing this from a beautiful island that takes my breath away. The ocean, the nature, the endless views - everything here grounds me and fills me with gratitude in ways that remind me how powerful it is to step outside our usual world.

Phil and I were at a mastermind on an island 2 hours by boat from Cartagena, Colombia, and something Einstein said keeps running through my mind:

Insanity is doing the same things and expecting different results

Think of your environment as a source of input for yourself.

Even if you love where you are, going to different places will touch you in different ways. A new language, new views, new weather - all of that triggers your system. This builds new pathways in your brain, and it creates new paths to new ideas as well.

Everything is connected.

When you expose your brain to novel environments, you literally rewire your neural networks. Neuroscience shows us that new experiences create new connections between brain cells, and these fresh pathways become the foundation for breakthrough thinking. Your brain stops running the same predictable loops and starts making connections it couldn't make before.

But here's what I really want you to understand:

Your sacred business is an invitation for your evolution.

A sacred business won't keep you in the same place in terms of awareness and relationship to life. Your sacred business is calling for more of you.

So experiment. Enroll in an event. Talk to people you never spoke before about your business. Or even just listen to how others speak about what they do and allow yourself to be affected by that.

It's beautiful to watch the sharpness from someone immersed in clarity.

Every time I come to an event, I set an intention to hear something I’ve never heard before, and I welcome new thoughts inspired by this whole new experience - especially in a place I've never been before.

My level of presence, the way I experience myself with people for the first time, invites all of my energy to this moment. Being grounded in my core allows my awareness to fly high and lets me have new ideas.

This is the frequency of Connection in action.

Connection isn't just about networking or meeting people. It's about allowing yourself to be touched by new environments, new perspectives, new ways of thinking about what's possible, it’s about connecting to life in ways you haven’t experienced before.

We often stay in our comfortable bubbles - the same coffee shop, the same conversations, the same content creators. But your Sacred Business is asking you to evolve beyond what you currently know.

New environments make it easier to shift patterns, create new habits, and break the old ones that no longer serve you.

The people here are in different stages of their business and relating to business in different ways. Witnessing this helps me see things my own business with more clarity.

Your business isn't separate from your growth. It's the vehicle for it.

So ask yourself: What new environment could you put yourself in? What conversation could you have with someone who thinks completely differently than you do? What experience could trigger new pathways in your brain?
