I'm a huge advocate for the wisdom of the body. I truly believe that our bodies hold incredible wisdom that we should learn to follow, even when our minds don't have all the answers.

But here's the thing, there's another side to it.

Did you know that 80% of the communication between your mind and body actually happens from your body to your mind?

It all starts with your senses. When you're triggered by something you see, hear, smell, taste, or touch, that information gets sent to your brain through your body.

And based on the information stored in your brain, certain chemicals and reactions are released in response.

Now, why is this so important?

Well, those chemicals and reactions actually influence your thoughts.

Have you ever found yourself feeling great one moment, and then suddenly spiraling into negative thoughts without even knowing why? It's because your body felt something and your brain started following the chemistry.

But here's the catch: if we always let our bodies win, we end up losing.

You see, in order to create something new and achieve our goals, we need to tap into the executive functions of our brain. We need to be conscious of whether our body's pulling us in the opposite direction of where we want to go.

So, if you have a goal in mind and you really want to pursue it, it's crucial to have self-awareness and presence. Notice when your body is resisting and trying to pull you away from your desired path. Recognize it as an old pattern, not your intuition. Then, take action anyway. That's where the power lies.

Understanding this communication between your mind and body is key.

Enhancing your self-awareness is vital so you can differentiate between your intuition and old patterns that no longer serve you.

Stay present, stay aware, and start building your future from this moment forward, instead of continually rebuilding or reliving your past.
